Practical Boat Electrics

This 1 day event that will help you to work safely and
confidently on the electrical systems on your boat.

The day will cover all the basics:

Batteries, Isolation Switches, Fuses and Circuit Breakers,

Sockets, Lights and Pumps etc......

Selecting the correct size of cable and connections.

Shore Supply, Inverters, Chargers, and Combination Inverter/chargers.

Residual Current Devices and Circuit Breakers, Galvanic Isolation.

Basic Engine wiring.

There will be practical exercises to consolidate the topics discussed.

If all of the above sounds a lot to fit into one day that’s because it would be if I were to explain, in detail, how all of the above work. As long as we understand what they are for and what they do, then that’ll be enough to connect them correctly.
And don’t worry if any of the terminology sounds a bit scary, it’s really not.

I also limit each event to a maximum of 8 participants, so there’s plenty of time to practise.
